Slocum fourth graders thank local veterans

At Edith L. Slocum Elementary, fourth grade students in Ms. Pinelli’s class created posters featuring pictures and thank you letters to veterans in honor of Veterans Day. The posters were delivered to a nursing home in the Huntington/Dix Hills over the weekend ahead of Veterans Day.
